Hanson Takes opener at SusquehannaNewsPhoto

Jaremi Hanson led flag to flag to capture his first win of the season in Saturday nighr’s 25-lap PASS/IMCA 305 Sprint car feature at Susquehanna Speedway.

The New Oxford racer started on the pole aboard the Ryan Slothower Motorsports #14 and never looked back in taking the win. Zach Newlin rode home in the runner-up spot while Jared Esh put on a passing clinic after starting 24th and racing home in the third position ahead of Ken Duke, Jr., and Ryan Stillwaggon. Completing the top 10 finishers were Billy Ney, Stephanie Dodson, Scott Lutz, John Martin and Cody Hackenberry.

Heats for the 29 305 Sprint cars were won by Newlin, Geoff Gill and Hanson. There was no consolation.
