CALE REIGLE COLLECTS IMCA/PASS SPRINT WINNewsPhoto

In only his second visit in two years, Cale Reigle of Newport, Pa. scored his second win in as many tries in the IMCA/Pass sprint Auto barn 20-lap feature. Defending limited late model champ Andrew Yoder of Middleburg, Pa., went flag to flag to win the C&E Containers, Freyco Racing 25-lap feature. Other winners include Tommy Dawson of Wapwallopen, Pa. getting his first ever feature win in the 15-lap Pro-Stock feature sponsored by T&C Transport Inc. Kyle Workman of Lock Haven, Pa. was the winner of the FWD four-cylinder Glenn Hawbaker sponsored 12-lap feature, with Alec Quiggle winning his second 600-micro sprint feature in the 15-lap event.

Cale Reigle got the jump from his front row starting spot and never looked back in the IMCA/Pass sprint car feature, in an event that was slowed by only two caution flags. On both restarts Cale was able to pull away from first time visitor Kyle Smith from South Egremont, Mass. Who is getting help from John Matrafailo who has logged many miles around the CCMS speedway. Unfortunately, the second caution was for a spin by Smith who lost the handle coming out of the fourth turn on lap13. On the next restart Cale was able to get away from Dale Schweikert, and drove away to his second career CCMS speedway win. “The track was beautiful tonight, this is the second time here in these cars, and we won the last time, we would like to race here more but it is tough getting off work on a Friday night and driving up from Harrisburg, to race here”, said Cale. “Crew chief Zach changed a tire from the heat to the feature, and he made the right call. “I love racing in this class and this is where I will end my driving career with this group”, noted Cale. Cale drove his J&J chassis with a C&G racing engine the hood of his #99 to the win over Kyle Ganoe who passed Dale Schweikert on lap 17 for the second spot but could not mount a challenge to Reigle. Schweikert held on for third with seventh starting Ken Duke coming on strong at the end for fourth, with Drew Ritchie in fifth. Heats for 18 sprints went to Reigle and Ritchie.
