Challenge purse offers incentivesNewsPhoto

The 2017 Keystone RaceSaver Challenge purse is over $15,000 and the winner can take home $1500. Best of all the format ensures that up to 48 cars will get to participate in a meaningful race.

The standard purse meets RaceSaver guidelines at $800 to win and $400 to start the A-main event but Port Royal has added $700 in incentives that will be paid based on Travel, Seniority and Number of Races in 2017.

Port Royal has often asked us to offer bigger "win" money and the incentives are designed to reward teams loyal to RaceSaver and to encourage teams to make the long trip. We’re also hoping to add additional incentives through sponsors to attract team from farther away to challenge our east coast drivers which we believe to be among the best. National points reflect this as we have 6 among the top 20 in the country now and hold down second and third place.

The race focuses on RaceSaver and is intended to give a spotlight opportunity to RaceSaver teams. A quick review of pre-registration will reveal just a few teams that have run a handful of races in other sprint car divisions. We require teams that run other divisions to have at least 3 RaceSaver races in 2017.

The champion of this event deserves to be a driver that has their priority on RaceSaver local regions run on the most affordable purse in racing and this race is a showcase for that talent.
Finally; besides the awesome A-main purse the race features the Founders Cup race for non-qualifiers which rewards a guaranteed spot in the 2018 race if the driver is exclusively RaceSaver. Last years winner was Kassidy Kreitz so look forward to Kassidy starting this years A-main!

The complete purse and registration details are now posted in the registration/purse section of keystoneracesaverchallenge.com
