CLEARFIELD, PA - Sunday June 14th the All Star Sprints headline the event with the PA 305 "PASS" series, and the always-exhilarating Street Stock Shootout.
The O'Reilly All Star Sprint Cars will be making their highly anticipated return to the Big Bear. Last season Mark Smith had the honors of taking home the Big Bear trophy, while Paul McMahan set a new track record of 13.698
The Street Stocks will be running a Special "SHOWDOWN" format for this one event.
"As if the Street Stock Shootout isn't exciting enough, they will be running a special "Showdown" format." Dan Bainey went on to add. "We figured that this race is another way to showcase our local racers."
The race will be run in three segments;
The 1st Segment will be 10 laps, ONLY the top 15 will continue.
The 2nd Segment will be 5 laps. After the second segment another 5 cars will be cut leaving 10 for the final "Showdown."
The 3rd Segment - THE SHOWDOWN will be an all out 5-lap sprint to the checkers.
The PASS 305 Sprint Car Series will also be making their first trip to The Big Track.
"I think it will be exciting; the PASS guys have made this there ONLY National Qualifying event of their season. We should see a pretty good turnout from those teams as they try to lock themselves into the Nationals. They put on a great show and with the wide racing surface here I'd expect to see quit a finish."
