With the annual Sprint Nationals just a day away the field of Sprint Cars was bolstered by several teams tuning up for the big event. The racing was a good tune-up for many, while it left several teams with plenty of work to get ready for Saturday.
Two flips marred the PA Sprint Series 305 Sprint Car feature, but nothing slowed down Logan Wagner. Wagner, of Harrisonville, PA, started second and out-powered pole-sitter Joe Smith at the drop of the green. Matt Mountz rolled in turn one and Mike Wagner was also involved and done for the night. On lap two ?Cowboy? Jim Kennedy went over, again in turn one. Only one more caution slowed the pace, but Logan Wagner drove away from the field, winning his second feature this year. Wagner had recently wrecked his own car and was in a car loaned to him by Thomas Rucker. Randy Kaylor finished second ahead of Steve Whary, Smith, and Don Sotosky. Whary won the Tool Shed of America contingency award when Wagner pulled a number three pill in victory lane. The heat wins went to Logan Wagner and Smith.
