Panchoís Racing Products of New Oxford PA has joined with the PA Sprint Series to provide contingency award to teams for 2011. Random winners will receive coupons that will spend like cash at Panchoís store. The Series kicks off itís 2011 campaign this week at Susquehanna Speedway Park after a rainout last week at Path Valley. A strong field of cars is expected Saturday with 22 teams already pre-registered and more expected.
The series is happy to have Pancho on board as we appreciate his support by offering a contingency prize on a weekly basis that racers can immediately use at his store to repair or improve their car. This isnít a discount or a coupon for a specific item itís good for anything that Pancho sells. Furthermore; Pancho has agreed that the weekly contingency will not go to the winner but to a random selection which is more in the spirit of the series which concentrates on cost saving and a more even pay scale for competitors.
All teams that pre-register for each event will be eligible for the weekly prize. The series is unique in that there is no point system and active teams are invited to race whenever they want (or can afford to). The series web site allows for teams to pre-register for races to help give tracks an anticipated car count.
