Hammaker picks up first ever win at RFHNewsPhoto


Russel Hammaker picked up his first ever win at Racing for Heroes Speedway Friday night. It was Hammakers first ever win and it came on his first trip to the speedway. He also picked great night to win as it was a special race which was a make-up from the earlier fair race which paid $500 to win.

Hammaker won his heat race and used his pole position start to dominate the feature to garner his first win. Tony Fiore was second Nathan Gramley third Tylor Cochran and Ken Duke rounded out the top 5. Most of the racing action was between Fiore and Mike Koehler racing hard for position until Koehler looped it turn 2. 23 cars were on hand for this special event which featured PASS regulars and some visitors from other RaceSaver regions.
