The 2015 season kicks off this weekend (weather permitting) at Path Valley Speedway.
PASS will begin to see some new talent as the year begins. 9 new teams have already interviewed and have engines and at least another 10 new teams have interviewed or plan to interview early in the season.
With the 2014 season winding down several top teams announced they would be moving into new divisions including 2014 Champ Eric Parker, 2012 Champ Tyler Bear and 2014 SSP champ Mike Wagner joining his Brother Logan in the 410 ranks. The departure of this top talent as well as some others will shine the spotlight on some exceptional new talent like 2015 track champs Jeff Miller and Ken Duke as well as up and coming talent including Tyler Reeser, Colby Dice, Zach Newlin and Russ Hammaker.
But it won’t be easy.
The departure of these talented drivers was quickly filled by fresh new talent and some teams transferring from other divisions including Drew Ritchey who will bring the familiar 880 back to local Sprint Car racing. The rookie class for 2015 is expected to be the largest in some time and don’t forget our talented Veterans like Erin Statler, Scott Ellerman, Nathan Gramley and the ageless Cowboy Jim Kennedy.
Active teams are reminded to keep an eye on the web site on a regular basis for important updates and information as the season gets under way.
