Path Valley Snows Out First Race Date

Spring Run PA _ The traditional practice session ‘Bug Day’ set for March 17 at the Path Valley Speedway Park has snowed out and will not be rescheduled.

Two Wheel Promotions will start the season with a regular points race on Friday night, March 23, with gates open at 5 p.m. for the alternating Legends and Super Stocks and the weekly Thunder Cars, Mini Stocks, 270 Sprints and 600 Sprints.

The following Friday, March 30, the new Sidewinders and the full size 305 Sprints will take the place of the Legends and Super Stocks in the season long rotation.

The Strictly Stock junkyard cars will open their season on Saturday, March 24, and alternate with the AMA motorcycles on quads on March 31. Gates open at 3 p.m. for Saturday races.

The Path Valley Speedway Park is located in Spring Run PA a mile north on PA Route 641 from the intersection with PA Route 75, halfway between Port Royal and Hagerstown. It is five miles east from the Willow Hill Exit 14 of the PA Turnpike. From March to October, Path Valley races stock cars and sprints Friday nights, karts on Saturday afternoons and AMA bikes or Strictly Stock junkyard cars Saturday nights.
